You are standing center stage facing the house. Take a bow. Your audience has yet to arrive, so you can explore a little before your performance begins. Notice the art deco elliptical hanging ceiling. It is actually suspended from the roof of the building, eliminating the need for pillars or supports. The seats are made of bent plywood, popular at the time the theater was built. You can buy special souvenir cushions if the seats seem to be too hard! The curvature of the back of the house boosts the near perfect acoustics. The windows can be darkened with shades during matinee performances.
