You are on the main floor, house left. This view of the house left side shows the curvature of the inside of the Theatre. This curvature accounts in part for the excellent acoutstics in the building. It eliminates square and angle corners, allowing sound waves to roll across its surface and reducing the "standing wave" effect that can distort and reduce sound in a building. The Moromon Tabernacle, famous for its perfect acoustics, is also an elliptical shaped building. Their pipe organ, however, actually works. The organ in the Chevalier Theater is being restored and will soon spring to musical life.
